2009 Sierra Pelona Travertine Claim Field Trip

On Sunday May 3rd, 2009, The Rockatomics Gem and Mineral Club held a field trip to the Sierra Pelona Travertine claim. Sierra Pelona is a rock and gem club and invites one and all to help work the claim.

Since we were a rather small group, we invited friends of ours from the Woodland Hills Rockchippers to join us.

Members of both clubs came back with some material. Here are some photos from this day field trip thanks to Gordon Ralph, Maureen, and Gary Levitt.
