Our Famous LogoRockatomics Gem & Mineral Society

About Us

An organization of Boeing, Rocketdyne, and Pratt & Whitney employees, retirees and their families operating under the auspices of Boeing and Pratt & Whitney - Rocketdyne.  Formerly sponsored by Rockwell International and Rockwell Aid Inc. from approximately 1960 until December 1996.  And now, in the process of joining the Foundation for Pierce College!

Objectives

The object of "Rockatomics" is to assemble a group of people who are interested in the geological, mineralogical, lapidary, gem craft, and precious metal jewelry hobbies in an atmosphere of good fellowship, sportsmanship, and service.

General Meetings

A monthly general meeting is held the second Monday of each month at Pierce College or the Pratt & Whitney/Rocketdyne Recreation Center.  Check out the "News" page for updates.  General meetings consist of a short business session, refreshments, and a program.  Meetings are called to order at 6:00 pm and are over at 8:00 pm.  Guests are cordially welcome!
